The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:
An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions. The opening ceremony of the project ‘International collaborative center of community health research’The Centre for community health research was launch ‘The International collaborative center of community health research’ is a product of the collaborative relationship between Queensland University of Technology-Australia and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. After a long time working as a technical consultant for the project ‘Improving medical education capacity in Public Health in Vietnam’, Prof. Michael Dunne has chosen Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy as a strategic partner for the future plans to conduct community health research in Vietnam. The purpose of the center is to enhance community health in central and highland areas through international collaborative high-quality research and training programs for scientific study. At this session, Mr Ngo Hoa expressed his strong appreciation of the great effort of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the past and thanks to this, it has achieved much success in the fields of education and research into public health. In particular, the university has made a drastic change to become more active in international cooperation and has gradually created its own prestige. He also believed that the center would implement valued researches and their results may help to improve health of people. Prof. Cao Ngoc Thanh-Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy said that he highly appreciated the role and the support of Hue province leaders in the progress of the university. The rector also expressed his gratitude to Prof. Michael Dunne who has been committed working and devoted to our university. In particular, with his direct support, the university established the International collaborative center of community health research, where many international collaborative research projects into public health would be conducted. In the session, Prof. Michael Dunne and Assoc. Prof. Vo Van Thang presented planned main activities of the center in the next three years. Prof. Michael Dunne also hoped that the center would be a good start in developing the international stature of the research activities of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The Memorandum of Understanding on collaboration between Queensland University of Technology and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy was signed in this session. |
