The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:
An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions. The Honorary Professor title was conferred on Assoc.Prof. Vo Van Thang by Queensland University of Technology, AustraliaOn the morning of April 12th, 2014, Hue University College of Medicine and Pharmacy (HUMP) and Institute for Community Health Research (ICHR) in collaboration with Queensland University of Technology, Australia to organize the honorary professor conferment on Assoc. Prof. Vo Van Thang, Dean of Public Health Faculty. Ceremony participants included Professor Cao Ngoc Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector; Assoc. Prof. Vo Tam, Vice Rector; Prof Tran Huu Dang, former vice rector; Dean Board of Faculty of Public Health, relevant Departments; Faculty’s staffs; post-graduated students; and Prof Michael Dunne, Director of Vietnam-Australia Cooperation Program in Public Health, Director of ICHR, representative for QUT. The ceremony also welcomed the presence of Prof. Piero Cappuccinelli, Professor of Clinical Microbiology, Member of Italian Academic Institute, Professor Emeritus of Hue University. Honorary Professor Title is conferred on individuals and those who are making contributions or have the potential to make significant contributions to academic and professional fields as well as cooperative development of the University. The honorary professor conferment on Assoc.Prof. Vo Van Thang indicated that Queensland University of Technology appreciated the valuable contribution of Assoc.Prof. Vo Van Thang to the academic development and sustainable cooperative relationship between the two universities. “This is a great pride of the University, the Faculty and the Institute. We honor individuals who are making contribution to our university in three aspects: international lecture, project participation and publish. Assoc Prof Thang has made his excellent effort as well as remarkable dedication.
