The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:
An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions. Meeting with the Director Board of the Health Department of Quang Ngai ProvinceOn July 19, 2016, the Directors of Institute for Community Health Research – A/Prof Vo Van Thang and Prof. Michael Dunne had a meeting with the Director Board of the Health Department of Quang Ngai Province, the Heads of Preventive Medicine centers and Commune Health Centers of Quang Ngai province.
Dr. Nguyen Tan Duc - Director of Health Department of Quang Ngai Province presenting beautiful flowers to A/Prof. Vo Van Thang and Prof. Michael Dunne On behalf of ICHR, A/Prof. Vo Van Thang gave the talk about ICHR’s functions, tasks, objectives and activities, and its remarkable achievements in recent years (2014-2016). Prof. Michael Dunne also presented the ICHR’s potential collaboration, education and training projects, and prominent publications of scientific research on prestigious domestic as well as international journals. Dr. Nguyen Tan Duc - Director of Health Department of Quang Ngai Province highly appreciated the impressive achievements of ICHR, and expressed the desire for a long term collaboration with ICHR. It is that the ICHR will support the Health Department to build the capacity of his staff in doing research through partial funding for their scientific research activities, providing the technical support and the short term training courses for its Units and individuals of Quang Ngai Provicial Health Department.
Dr Nguyen Tan Duc - Director of Quang Ngai Provincial Health Department highly appreciated the activities of ICHR. On this occasion, the representatives from the provincial, district, and commune levels of medicine centers of Quang Ngai Province raised numerous questions and shared the difficulties that they faced when doing scientific research and expressed the need to have the technical assistance from the Institute. The Director Board of ICHR enthusiastically answered the questions, and committed to provide supports to build and improve the capacity in doing research for medical staff at Quang Ngai Province.
