The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:
An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions. ICHR has won a prize in the 10th Scientific and Technical Creation Contest of Thua Thien Hue provinceOn October 25, 2020, the 10th Scientific and Technical Creation Contest of Thua Thien Hue province was held in Hue city with many appraisal boards from various disciplines, including information technology, electronics and telecommunications; mechanical automation, construction, transportation; materials, chemicals, energy; agriculture, forestry and fishery, natural resources and environment; Medicine and Pharmacy; education, training and other fields. This is an annual contest to promote scientific research and technical creation of the people of Thua Thien Hue province, and to encourage the effective application of scientific research and technical solutions on production and life, contributing to socio-economic development. This contest is also an opportunity to recognize and honor the contributions of scientists, useful technical innovations, good initiatives that have been applied and have high socio-economic impact in Thua Thien Hue province.
This contest has attracted 110 entries to participate in the six fields of competition, highest in the past 10 years, with many well-invested and quality topics and has achieved many impressive results via its implementation. There were 64 projects awarded, including 3 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 14 third prizes and 39 consolation prizes.
At this contest, the Institute for Community Health Research, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy has two research participated, of which the topic "Current situation of violence against woman during pregnancy and its impact on maternal postnatal depression and children’s health: The first evidence in Hue City” by Dang Thi Anh Thu, Vo Van Thang, Luong Thanh Bao Yen, Nguyen Hoang Lan, and Hoang Dinh Tuyen has won a consolation prize. This research is one of the products of the Project "Evidence for Better Lives - EBLS". The closing and award ceremony took place on the evening of November 18, 2020 at Lecture Hall 1 of the Hue Pedagogical University.
With these successes, the researchers of the Institute for Community Health research will continue to strive to achieve greater success in the future, contributing to education, health care and the development of Thua Thien Hue Province.
