The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:
An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions. Collaboration from the International ConferenceOn 6 – 8 Oct, 2014 Associate Professor Vo Van Thang attended the conference on Health Literacy and Health Promotion, Taipei, Taiwan following an invitation and full supported from the conference committee as the leader of the Faculty of Public Health and Acting Director of the Institute for Community Health Research – Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and a presenter as well. During the conference program, he delivered a report on the mental health of medical students. This topic attracted a large audience and many questions. Furthermore, Professor Richard H Osborne, School of Health and Social Development, Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia formally invited the Institute to join the international research as similar to the topics above by using the research instruments uniformly. So the ICHR will be the first partner in Viet Nam conducting this research. Throughout the conference, Associate Professor Vo Van Thang, on behalf of the Faculty of Public Health – Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy received a certificate to become a new member of Asian Health Literacy Association.
