The 13th international conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries on "Enhancing transdisciplinary collaborations on Education and Research to tackle priority public health issues in the new Era" has following objectives:

  • To strengthen the relationship of Faculties of Public Health among the Southeast Asian countries and in the world;
  • To share research results in the field of Public Health as well as priority public health issues among greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries;
  • To search for feasible solutions to enhance international collaboration among Public Health Faculties in Mekong Sub-Region and a wider area of the Southeast Asian countries about training and research in Public Health.

An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions.

Thua Thien Hue provincial Association of Public Health and Preventive Medicine in collaboration with the Faculty of Public Health and the Institute for Community Health Research of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, will host a scientific conference on Public Health.  (updating...)

Workshop of sharing the results of the project “Transforming research into clinical education and practice - TRICEP”

Within the project “Transforming research into clinical education and practice – TRICEP”, on December 4th, 2020, the Institute for Community Health Research (ICHR) – Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a workshop with the aim of sharing the products of the TRICEP project.

 

We honored to welcome delegates from the Department of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs , The Disability Association , Women's Union of Thua Thien Hue Province,  Plan International Vietnam, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Center for Disease Control , Phu Vang District Health Center, Office of Science - Technology and International Relations, Department of Obstetrics, and Faculty of Public Health, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

 

The workshop started with an introduction of TRICEP project and its integration of reproductive health care for women with disabilities into the postgraduate curricula presented by A/prof. Vo Van Thang - Director of the ICHR. After that, Dr. Dang Thi Anh Thu - Deputy Director of the IHCR introduced the development of the script and implementation of video clips based on the situations of women with physical disabilities who had had pregnancy and delivery . The workshop was followed with presentations and sharing on policies and programs to support reproductive health care for pregnant women with disabilities in Thua Thien Hue province as well as the situation of health care for pregnant women with disabilities at the Center for Disease Control of Thua Thien Hue Province and the Hospital of the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy; and the ability to integrate reproductive health care issues for pregnant women with disabilities in curricula from representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Faculty of Reproductive Health - Centers for Disease Control Thua Thien Hue province and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology – Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Finally, all the workshop attendees actively participated in discussing, sharing, reviewing the project’s products, and making recommendations on topics and the presentation format of expected products of the project. The workshop ended at 17.00 on the same day.
